
How to Order
As we begin our micro-bakery, preorders will open once a week for pickup on Wednesdays from 12 PM - 7 PM in North Star, or 3 PM - 6 PM in Versailles. We’ll start with our classic sourdough loaf and cinnamon rolls, adding specialty items along the way. When you stop by for pickup in North Star, we’d love to make you a complimentary coffee. Just bring your thoughts and feedback with you!

A place to slow down and connect. Rooted in community.
The Porch was created as a place to slow down, gather, and enjoy thoughtfully made food together. Inspired by childhood memories on my grandparents’ front porch in rural Ohio, it’s meant to feel grounding—a space for connection and simple, intentional nourishment.

Where we are now
Right now, The Porch is in its microbakery stage. We bake small-batch sourdough and baked goods, available through weekly preorders. This phase allows us to focus on testing recipes, listening to our community, and building something intentionally from the ground up.
Looking ahead
As The Porch grows, our vision is to one day become a café and bakery — a welcoming gathering place rooted in the same values that guide our microbakery today: handcrafted food, warmth, creativity, and community.
